Where OllaCart Is Today: One Cart for Every Store, and a Better Way to Share Finds

OllaCart started with a simple frustration: the things we want to buy are scattered across a dozen stores, a dozen carts, and a camera roll full of screenshots. When we want a second opinion, we paste links into a group chat and lose them by the weekend.
OllaCart puts all of that in one place. Here is what OllaCart does today, what's new this fall, and why it makes shopping (and sharing what you find) easier.
One cart across every store
Save a product from almost any online store, whether that's Amazon, Target, a small boutique, or a brand you found on Instagram. It lands in your OllaCart with its photo, price and link, next to everything else you're considering.
- On your computer: the Chrome extension adds the page you're on in one click.
- On your iPhone: the OllaCart iOS app adds itself to Safari's Share menu, so saving a product is two taps from any store's website.
- Organize it your way: sort finds into lists like "Apartment," "Birthday ideas," or "Fall wardrobe," and filter by category.
Nothing expires and nothing gets lost when you close a tab. Your cart waits until you're ready.
Why one cart helps you shop better
Most online shopping doesn't end in a purchase, not because people don't want things, but because the decision is spread across too many places. Seeing every option side by side changes that:
- Compare honestly. Two jackets from two stores, next to each other, with prices.
- Stop re-researching. Your shortlist is already there when you come back.
- Buy on your schedule. Save now, decide on payday, or wait for a sale.
Sharing that actually helps you decide
Shopping alone is how carts get abandoned. OllaCart is built to get you useful input before you buy:
- Share your cart with one link, so friends see exactly what you're weighing.
- Follow people whose taste you trust and browse the carts they choose to share.
- React with likes, and see who liked an item, so a "which one?" question gets a real answer.
- Private until you say so. Your cart is yours; you decide what's shared.
New: send finds straight to your favorite people
This month we added favorites: the handful of people you share with most, like your partner, your sister, or your group-gift crew.
- Tap Send to… on any product and pick favorites with one tap, or type an email or @username.
- Add a quick note ("for the living room?").
- People with OllaCart get it in a new Shared with you row on their Social page, plus an email. Anyone else just gets the email with a link.
- Star anyone to keep them at the top of your share list next time.
We also fixed likes behind the scenes, so tapping a thumb now responds instantly and always counts the right people.
Checkout without starting over
When you're ready to buy, OllaCart works with how each store sells:
- Buy in OllaCart for stores where we can place the order for you reliably, with your saved address and card.
- Go straight to the store for everyone else: Check out opens each item on its store's site in its own tab, so you can finish there.
Either way, you don't rebuild your list or hunt for links. The cart you built is the cart you check out.
How OllaCart stays free
OllaCart is free to use. Some store links are affiliate links: when you buy through them, the store may pay OllaCart a small commission, and you pay the same price.
